Cookie & Data Technologies Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026
We use minimal data technologies. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We only use essential technologies (session cookies, localStorage) to maintain your login and preferences, and privacy-first analytics (Plausible) that does not track individuals.
Essential Technologies
Session Cookie (fd_user_token)
A secure, httpOnly cookie that maintains your login session. Set when you sign in via Google OAuth, removed when you sign out. Required for authentication and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features.
Local Storage (fd_user_token)
Stores your authentication token locally to maintain your session across page loads. Cleared when you sign out.
Locale Preference
We remember your language preference (Traditional Chinese or English) for a consistent browsing experience.
Analytics
Plausible Analytics
We use Plausible, a privacy-first, cookie-free analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, does not track users across websites, and is fully GDPR compliant. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
Technologies We Do NOT Use
- Third-party tracking cookies
- Advertising cookies or pixels
- Cross-site tracking technologies
- Browser fingerprinting technologies
- Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or similar tracking tools
Managing Preferences
Since we only use essential technologies and cookie-free analytics, there are no optional cookies to manage. To remove the session cookie, simply sign out. You may also clear your browser's cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.
